Since the holidays are here, we can assume a lot of businesses will close for the day so that employees can celebrate the holidays. But not every business.
Not even a federal holiday will keep some stores and restaurants from being there for their customers on Christmas day. It’s a two-in-one: get money and satisfy customers.
Among the stores and restaurants keeping the doors open are 7-Eleven, CVS, Rite Aid, several other fast-food chains, Applebee’s, and Denny’s, and many more. While these stores and others will open on Christmas Day, many have decided to shorten hours due to the holiday.
Starbucks will be open. The company has chosen to have a coffee pick-me-up available for its customers. The majority of locations will be open on Christmas Day. A spokesperson for the coffee place said, “Starbucks stores are a gathering place for the entire community and customers use our stores to connect over coffee in different ways every day. We are happy to welcome customers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in select store locations. Store hours vary by location, and stores may occasionally adjust their hours based on business and customer needs.”
Starbucks stores will be open on shortened hours due to it being Christmas, meaning some may close early.
“America runs on Dunkin,” the coffee chain is scheduled to keep most of its locations open on Christmas Day, A Dunkin spokesperson told Country Living, “While many Dunkin’ locations will be open on Christmas, we encourage our guests to check the Dunkin’ Mobile App to confirm if their local store is open before visiting,” added when talking about operating on Christmas.
Rite aid, CVS, and Walgreens are a few other stores that will allow customers in on the holiday. Big Box retailers Walmart and Target have opted to close their doors.
If you’re looking for food then some places will save you from being hungry: Arby’s, IHOP, McDonald’s, Papa Johns, and of course-Waffle House.
