Subway is stepping into the value menu trend with a new limited-time offer. From August 26 through September 8, the sandwich chain is offering footlong subs for $6.99, giving customers a chance to enjoy their favorite subs at a lower price.
Known for its $5 footlong deal in the past, Subway’s footlongs now typically cost up to $16. This promotion allows customers to purchase any of Subway’s 22 “chef-crafted” sandwiches or create a custom sub at nearly half the usual price. Customers must use the promo code 699FL when ordering through Subway’s app or website to activate the deal.
Subway North America President Doug Fry emphasized that the deal is meant to provide affordable meal options without compromising on quality. “Our menu is full of footlongs for every budget, and this new deal means our guests can get the sandwiches they crave at a great value,” Fry said.
Subway’s promotion comes as other fast-food chains are also offering value deals. Jimmy John’s recently introduced a $10 Total Package Meal, which includes an 8-inch sub, chips, a dessert, and a drink. Meanwhile, McDonald’s and Burger King continue to offer $5 meal deals, providing customers with budget-friendly options across the board.
