New details have emerged about actor Kaalan Walker and how he used a false relationship with Drake to lure his rape victims.
On Wednesday, the revelation came to light during closing arguments of Walker’s serial rapist trial. On one occasion, Walker was able to get close to a 16-year-old girl who wanted to be a Victoria’s Secret model. He persuaded her to come to his home to shoot headshots. Walker also claimed that she’d be introduced to the “Take Care” rapper. Walker advised the young girl that they needed to “sexualize” her to become a model. Once inside his home, the then 22-year-old demanded the teenager film a sex tape with him. The victim testified that she’d said no multiple times but that Walker “doesn’t take no for an answer.”
His additional victims are also familiar with the Drake promise, as it was one of his signature lines to establish his validity in the entertainment industry. He promised the women opportunities and connections to help with their careers. Instead, he raped them. At least one victim was extremely intoxicated and unaware of what was happening.
Now 27, Walker is facing life in prison for a flurry of charges, including five counts of forcible rape and two counts of rape by an intoxicating substance. He is also facing charges of statutory rape for assaulting underage victims. The disgraced actor has pleaded not guilty to all counts.
Walker has appeared in several films, including “Kings” alongside Halle Berry in 2017. His most notable role was as Juju in the 2018 film “SuperFly.”
