Santa Claus will have to put himself on the naughty list after holding up a KFC restaurant in England.
A knife wielding man dressed as jolly old St. Nick climbed through the KFC drive-thru window and threatened employees to fork over the cash. The incident, which took place Saturday evening around 10:30pm, resulted in the robber making off with an undisclosed amount from the restaurant’s safe.
Surveillance footage captured the entire thing but as of Wednesday, the fake Chris Cringle still remained at large. The suspect was described as being 5′ 10 and wearing a red hat, red pants, a red jacket and a mask.
“We can confirm there was a robbery at the Alfreton drive-through. Thankfully, the restaurant was shut and no one was hurt but we are offering employees any support they need,” a KFC spokesman said.
