On Tuesday night, authorities in Yonkers arrested a man accused of raping four-year-old twins and attacking two officers who tried to apprehend him at a Midtown homeless shelter.
Isaiah Metz, 22, was taken into custody by police after he was subdued with a stun gun, police said.
As a result, he was hospitalized before being taken to Midtown South Police Precinct on several charges, including the assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass.
According to police, at around 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, Metz allegedly fought off two detectives of the NYPD and an investigator of the city’s Department of Investigation at the Antonio Olivieri Drop-In Center on West 30th Street near Eighth Avenue in Manhattan.
Before fleeing, Metz allegedly punched both officials repeatedly in the head and bit one of the investigators on the arm.
Sources told police that the suspect was adopted into a foster home in York County, Pennsylvania, where he allegedly raped the twin girls.
Records show he faces a total of 115 charges due to the heinous sex assaults that took place in Goldsboro.
CBS reported that Metz is currently on parole for allegedly attacking another cop in Pennsylvania.
