Suspected Midtown Atlanta Shooter Denied Bond

The woman police say shot three people in Atlanta Monday was denied bond Tuesday in a court appearance.

Two people are dead, while a third person remains hospitalized after accused shooter Raissa Kengne, 34, opened fire in a midtown apartment building and office.

Police believe Kengne targeted the victims because of an ongoing dispute with the building managers where she lives.

Court documents revealed that Kengne filed a lawsuit against one of the victims she shot dead, Wesley Freeman, 41. The Fulton County Medical Examiner also identified Michael Shinners, 60, as the second victim killed. The third shooting victim, Mike Horne, is currently in the ICU.

Kengne was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Monday, around two hours after the shooting was reported.
