Three men accused of burglarizing Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s home last December are now facing state charges in Ohio. Prosecutors announced that Jordan Francisco Quiroga Sanchez, Bastian Alejandro Orellana Morales, and Sergio Andres Ortega Cabello have been charged with first-degree felony engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and second-degree felony burglary, linking them to an organized crime ring targeting high-profile individuals.
On Dec. 9, while Burrow was playing against the Dallas Cowboys, the suspects allegedly broke into his Ohio home, stealing $300,000 worth of valuables, including expensive jewelry, designer bags, and LSU memorabilia. Authorities later recovered photos from a suspect’s phone showing the men posing with what appears to be Burrow’s stolen belongings. The images were discovered after the men were pulled over for a traffic violation in Clark County, Ohio, on Jan. 10.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich made it clear that law enforcement is committed to cracking down on organized crime. “Let this be clear: If you commit a crime in Hamilton County, we will prosecute you,” Pillich said in a statement.
The suspects, believed to be from Chile, originally entered the U.S. legally, but investigators say they are connected to a larger crime ring that has targeted athletes nationwide. Similar burglaries have hit professional athletes across the country, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, whose homes were burglarized in Kansas City just months before Burrow’s break-in.
Speaking to the media in January, Burrow expressed frustration over the violation of his privacy, saying, “Way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share.”
Authorities warn that more suspects may still be at large.
