Swae Lee is reportedly the father of a 1-year-old daughter and is seeking joint custody of the child.
According to TMZ, Swae welcomed his daughter Angel in 2020 with Brazilian model Aline Martins. In court documents filed in July, Swae asks for joint custody of the baby girl.
In addition, the documents state that Swae has been giving Martins money for the child. However, she claims she’s now $15,000 in debt due to prenatal care, rent, and other expenses.
It’s unclear why Swae decided to go to the court, but an insider told the outlet that the rapper wants to be present in his daughter’s life. They added that Swae wanted to set ground rules before conflicts arose.
Last year, Martins spoke with Jornal Extra saying, “I would like him to give love and be a present father. But I won’t be humiliating myself, either. I think my daughter doesn’t deserve that.”
Swae is currently expecting a child with his current girlfriend, Victoria Kristine. Last week, the couple celebrated their baby’s arrival with a safari-themed baby shower.
