Amid the mounting sexual assault allegations in Hollywood, one actor is fighting back against his accuser.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to TMZ, #SylvesterStallone is demanding an investigation into the woman who reportedly filed a report, accusing the actor of raping her 27 years ago.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sources say the woman filed a report last month, accusing the actor of assault. However, prior to the woman’s filing, she reportedly brought her story to a media outlet, who then reached out to Stallone to inform him of the claims. The outlet refused to publish the woman’s story due to lack of corroborating evidence. The outlet also said there had not been a police report on the incident at that time, which means the woman had not filed in 1990 when the alleged incident took place and still hadn’t since.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sources say, when the woman did finally file in mid-November, the outlet refused to publish the story for fear that the woman filed in a failed attempt to get the story out. According to TMZ, another reporter then called Stallone’s attorney, Marty Singer to inform him about the allegations against his client in the new report.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, as Singer looks to confirm the police report accusing Stallone of rape, he is also preparing to fire back at the woman in a complaint requesting an investigation into her false report.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As for the allegations, Stallone denies them. However, he did admit to spending a few days with the woman during her shoot in 1987 in Israel, while he was single and she was of age. He also said he had never seen her in 1990, despite the woman’s claim that the rape took place in his Santa Monica office that year.
