T.I. Teases Retirement with the Announcement of His Final Album

On Tuesday, Atlanta rapper T.I. dropped a new video for his latest single, “What It’s Come To.” At the end of the video, T.I. hinted that he would be dropping his final album and heading into retirement.

The video’s final frame announces “the final album,” Kill The King, is coming soon. Tip previously mentioned in an interview on The Breakfast Club that he was ready to exit the music industry.

He also laid out his plans to release three additional albums. Kill The King would be his third and final release if his statements were factual. “I got this next album; I got three albums in my head I’ve already conceptualized. Once I get them out, I’m done,” he said at the time.

Since then, he’s released Dime Trap and then followed that up with The L.I.B.R.A. The latter project featured many guests, such as Snoop Dogg, Lil Baby, Rick Ross, and others.

There’s no date for the album’s release, but “What It’s Come To” serves as the lead single.
