T.I. has found himself in some more legal trouble. The Atlanta rapper is being sued by a former landlord over rental home damages.
Radar Online recently obtained legal documents showing that Farzin Fazeli is suing T.I. for unpaid property damages totaling $127,182.65.
According to the documents, Fazeli gave the rapper a 60-day notice to vacate the California home after he leased out the property in July 2020. However, T.I. claims he paid rent through August and moved out on the 31st.
Fazeli says T.I. handed over a $50,000 deposit to cover any damages but refused to pay the remaining $77,182.65.
“The damages arise from a significant number of alterations done to the property that were done either without knowledge or some limited knowledge,” the lawsuit reads. “But all with the agreement that the house would be placed back to how it was when it was originally leased.”
The document continues, “It also includes physical damage, including but not limited to [a] projector, pool house floor, kitchen pantry door, drywall, and ceiling damage. Additionally, a painting owned by [Fazeli] was taken by [T.I.].”
Fazeli is suing for breach of contract and wants the court to force T.I. to pay over $77,000 to cover his legal fees and property damages.
