T.I. visited Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning to have a chat about Kanye West’s Sunday Service which he experienced in Atlanta, meeting Candace Owens and going viral at the Revolt Conference. He even talks about politics, discussing who would have the best chance of defeating Trump, also touching on his podcast episode with his wife Tiny, and much more.
On Kanye’s and his Sunday Service and spirituality, “I have no reason not to believe,” he responds to Ebro’s question of whether he believes Ye’s journey to be true. “Even more so, it felt good to see him in such a state. He was just doing shit before, now I feel like he’s moving with purpose.”
On Revolt, “Everything was cool until afterward. Until it hit the net, then that’s when folks got in they feelings,” he says of his encounter with Candance Owens at the panel.
When asked who he was voting for, the rapper says, “Who’s on the ballot?”
“I’m anybody but Trump 2020 honestly,” he says. “I think he’s horrible, he’s a horrible example of leadership. He doesn’t represent the totality of American people.” He going on to say Trump is a “laughing stock” and says he believes Bernie Sanders is the only one to beat Trump right now.
The Grand Hustle CEO seemed to enjoy his interview per usual, check out the open conversation with Hot 97 below.
