Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have reportedly parted ways with ABC. Sources told TMZ following a lengthy and contentious mediation, the decision to sever ties was agreed upon.
Per the former ‘GMA 3′ hosts’ contracts, Holmes and Robach will receive payouts.
Sources added that reps for the network accused Holmes and Robach of misconduct.
One source called the allegations a “witch hunt.”
At one point, Robach was accused of having liquor in her dressing room, violating ABC’s policy. But what’s interesting is that the liquid bottles were allegedly gifted by two ABC News executives, who also gave others the same, TMZ reported.
She was also accused of coming to work drunk last year after attending the College Football National Championship game the day before. Another claim, a source called “insane.”
As for the affair between Amy and T.J., it was clear in mediation that they did not handle their romance appropriately. For one, they waited too long to inform ABC execs. ABC also said their “behavior on set” was “uncomfortable” for some ABC staff.
Initially, the network said the hosts hadn’t broken any rules, but there has been a turnaround since.
Nonetheless, Robach and Holmes are still going strong in the love department.
