T-Pain is finally getting his due as a trailblazer and legend in the music industry.
Just weeks after earning and accepting the highest honor at the Soul Train Awards, the Tallahassee singer-songwriter-producer is expanding his legacy with a Las Vegas residency.
“Full speed toward 2024,” T-Pain said in his Instagram announcement. “I’m proud to officially announce that I’m kicking off my FIRST EVER Vegas residency at @/zoukgrouplv and @/ayuayclub Catch my very first show on Thu. Feb 8 at #Zouknightclub. Join for a ride you won’t forget.”
The “Buy U A Drank” singer has teamed up with Resort World to headline shows at Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub, with the first show set days before the Super Bowl.
“2024 is going to be a great year,” T-Pain said in a statement to KTNV. “I’ve been fortunate to have an amazing career, and I’ve always dreamed of having a residency of my own. I’ve got some special surprises up my sleeve, so Vegas, let’s turn up.”
So far, the residency dates are Feb 8, Apr 20, and Jul 11 at Zouk and May 25 at Ayu Dayclub.
T-Pain will join the likes of New Edition, the Wu-Tang and Jodeci on the Vegas strip. Which other artists would you like to announce a residency?
