Lil Wayne has been hit with a lawsuit over unpaid services on “Tha Carter III” album.
According to TMZ, T-Pain has filed a suit against Young Money, through his company Nappy Boy Productions over Wayne’s track, “Got Money.” Pain says he produced the record, and was featured on it but has yet to receive the money for it.
In addition, Pain says one of his artists produced a song on Wayne’s “Tha Carter IV” album, but was never compensated for his work. In the docs obtained by TMZ, Pain says the there was a deal in place for Pain to receive some royalties from the Young Money label in exchange for his work on the song. Since the 2008 album sold over 3 million copies, in the U.S. alone, Pain believes him and his artist are owed more than half a million dollars.
