T-Pain Trends On Twitter As Fans Give Him His Flowers

T-Pain was trending on Twitter Monday with fans reminiscing on their favorite records from the Florida musician.

The Grammy award-winning singer rose to stardom with his hit single, “I’m Sprung,” in August 2005. The record reached number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 and number nine on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It was the lead single from his debut album, “Rappa Ternt Sanga,” which arrived on December 6th, 2005. The LP reached number thirty-three on the Billboard 200 and was certified Gold by the RIAA.

T-Pain is credited with popularizing auto-tune in music, sparking a new way of recording music that has transcended over a decade. Check out some of the best tweets honoring one of the industry’s greatest treasures.
