T.I. is still pissed about the bogus charges connected to last week’s arrest, so much so that he is demanding someone pay up for his troubles.

TMZ caught up with the Atlanta-bred rapper on Monday to first discuss the Care2 petition to get his misdemeanor charges dropped, which he claimed to appreciate but admitted his attention is focused on retribution.

“I think that’s a blessing, I appreciate it, however, that’s the least of my concern,” he said. “People who fought fed cases don’t lose no sleep over no misdemeanor, especially when they trumped-up.”

If you recall, the rapper was arrested last week on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness after a verbal altercation with the gate security guard.

“But I appreciate the thought, that’s a kind gesture,” he continued. “What they can do is figure out, between the parties involved, who is going to hold themselves accountable and accept responsibility for the retribution that must be paid through because, you know, I spent a lot of time reconstructing my image from my past transgressions so I could do deals with other corporations. Then you throw me out there like I’m just drunk and beating up on people and that ruins possible opportunities for me. So if you take money off my table it can’t be whole again until you replace it, so who gonna replace it is the question.”

When asked about legal action, T.I. fired back and said, “I just said what I said, so whatever you took from what I said is what I said.”
