T.I. Shares His Criticisms On Trump, Says The U.S. Looks Like A “Joke:” “How Could You Let That Fall Into The Hands Of A Madman?”

Like many Americans, rapper TI is fed up with Donald Trump’s problematic ways and explains that the world is now laughing at the U.S.

The Atlanta native sat down on #RaquelHarper’s “Raq Rants” couch and opened up about his issues with how the country is being managed by Trump. When Harper asked Tip what he thought the problem with Trump was, he said, “I think privilege, entitlement, hypocrisy – the fact that people feel that the color of their skin makes them a better person and more qualified and more eligible for more opportunities.”

He continued, “And we can’t continue to call ourselves the greatest nation in the world if we continue to behave this way. And on the world stage…it’s a joke. How could you let such a thing happen to your country? You know what I’m saying? Like how could you put the most prestigious office to be held in the free world – how could you let that fall into the hands of a madman?”

T.I. is well-known for speaking out of social and political issues as an artist and citizen. The full interview will air at 11 p.m. on BET (PST).
