Taco Bell celebrates its 60th anniversary this year with some new menu items! The “Anniversary-Inspired Meal” commits to the vegetarian lifestyle and is for anyone that is a vegetarian but loves Taco Bell!
According to Pop Culture, “The new meal is a limited-time vegetarian combo that includes fan-favorites like that Black Bean Crunchwrap Supreme, Bean Burrito, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, and Cinnamon Twists. It is also served with a large unsweetened iced tea and two Diablo Sauces,” and it’s only $8.99.Â
Mark King, Chief Executive Officer at Taco Bell, released a statement. “I could not be more proud of what this brand has accomplished in our home of Southern California and beyond over the last 60 years.”
Taco Bell was first opened in 1962 by Glen Bell in Downey, California. He introduced tacos to a world filled with burger retailers like Mcdonald’s.Â
King continues, “Taco Bell is a brand that not only feeds people but enacts change and drives creativity in our team members and our fans. This anniversary is a thank you to everyone, especially our fans and the incredible people I work beside, both at corporate and in our restaurants.”
Though it was only available through the app and website, the menu item debuted in stores on March 21. The vegetarian combo is a limited-time-only offer, so get it while you can!Â
