Just a week after Cardi B announced her split from Offset and days after his alleged mistress took to Instagram to defend her relationship with the married Migo, Offset threw caution to the wind in an attempt to get his wife back.
In the days leading up to the Rolling Loud concert on Saturday Night in L.A., many weighed in on the split between the Ballerific Couple including T.I., 50 Cent and the Game, who all encouraged the Bronx-bred rapper to take her man back. But, despite the advice from her peers, Cardi just needed time.
However, on Saturday, the rapper was caught off guard when her estranged husband popped up with a sign made of roses that read, “Take Me Back Cardi,” in his second attempt to apologize publicly.
“I just want to tell you I’m sorry, babe,” Offset said, as Cardi, visibly disappointed, explained to him that his gesture was inappropriate.
Despite her frustration though, Cardi finished her performance and took to Instagram to set her fans straight. Although she and Offset are going through a difficult time, she wanted to make it clear that it doesn’t give anyone carte blanche to talk crap.
“Violating my baby father is not going to make me feel any better because at the end of the day that’s still family,” she said, “I just don’t like that bashing online thing,” she added, as she referenced Pete Davidson’s suicidal message.
At the end of the day, Kulture loves that man, according to Cardi, so she is not going to let you talk bad about him, regardless of what he’s done to her.
