On the heels of the “Tamar and Vince” season finale, new details have surfaced about the couple’s now-messy relationship. After Tamar’s mother, Ms. Evelyn Braxton, spilled the beans about Vince’s violence against her daughter, the events leading up to the singer’s decision to divorce played out on the show.
Although Tamar’s filing took place months ago, the two sat down with producers after Thursday’s season finale to talk about how they’ve moved forward since the decision to split. Both agreed that they were working on being friends and better parents to their son Logan, though the two were very still very much in love with one another.
However, on Friday, Baller Alert received a tip about a domestic violence incident that occurred between the two on Christmas day. Shortly after, we obtained a police report that showed that the alleged incident led to Vince’s arrest. Although the report mentioned he’d been hit with a misdemeanor charge, it also showed that he had been released on a $20,000 bail. Since then though, Tamar has spilled even more tea about their relationship.
In an early morning Instagram post, Tamar confirmed that there was, in fact, a Christmas incident and shared even more information about Vince.
“Vincent Herbert is having a baby and his whore decided to let me know about it tonight!!” the post read. “That stupid broke ass whore should check public records on Christmas before she goes through with it!! He called back (despite of his protection order) begging and lying….like he’s hanging out with Joe and Rocxi (from BET) oh yeah…that’s creditable.. no shade.. however, before u judge me know the FACTS!! He’s a real piece of work!! SMH happy new year folks!! Ladies and gentlemen know that 2018 is a FRESH start and if I can leave this liar u can leave yours too.”
The lengthy post was captioned with a short message that read, “Say what u want about me…but I’m good & Got Damn tired of the bull. 2018 belongs to who DARES to take your like BACK!! I’m FIRST in line!”
But, the songstress didn’t stop there, she even went as far as to call out former “Basketball Wives” star Laura Govan, saying her baby daddy, Gilbert Arenas, knew about Vince’s infidelities because he was allegedly messing with Laura. In fact, we received a tip that Laura’s homegirl, who is a trainer, was messing with Vince and they fell out over the situation.
If you thought the two would be able to work it out before, it appears that the relationship may be over for good after today. We reached out to Tamar for a comment, so far, no word back.
