Tamar Braxton Rushed To Hospital In Ambulance While Battling Flu: ‘You Do Not Want This’

Tamar Braxton was rushed to the emergency room by ambulance after Christmas shopping with some of her friends ahead of the holiday.

On Friday, the television personality posted a carousel of photos and videos to her Instagram page showing her smiling and having a good time with friends and then in the hospital.

“This isn’t an attention post… this is an ATTENTION post,” she captioned the post. “literally I was with my best friends @normankgyamfi and @wardellmalloy shopping and doing Christmas fun sht and the VERY NEXT DAY I had to be taken to the hospital by AMBULANCE, needed oxygen cause I thought God was taking me home cause I could not breathe and my chest was on FIRE!!”

She explained that she was taken to Northside Hospital and received the best care. She was diagnosed with the flu, which she said feels worse than Covid to her. Braxton says she doesn’t know where she picked the flu up and cautions others to stay home this holiday season. 

“I wasn’t around a lot people and have NO IDEA where it came from.. enjoy y’all holiday AT HOME.. u don’t want this,” she wrote. 

Right now, the country is experiencing a “tripledemic,” with cases of the flu, COVID-19, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) on the rise. Infectious disease experts advise people to wear face masks once again to prevent the spreading of the viruses.
