Tamar Braxton Says Vince Herbert’s Christmas Day Arrest Stemmed From Alcohol and Jealousy But She Says He Is Not a “Vicious Abuser”

As the drama between Tamar Braxton and her estranged husband, Vince Herbert, unfolds, the songstress has released a statement to TMZ to clear up any other rumors.

We recently reported that Vince had been arrested after an incident that occurred on Christmas. Although the arrest record, obtained by Baller Alert, did not mention Vince’s charges, fans assumed the worst after Tamar’s Saturday morning post.

However, Tamar cleared up the assumptions in a statement to TMZ, revealing that incident was, in no way, physical.

“While celebrating the Christmas holiday as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand, which is common for most families during the holidays,” Tamar said. “There was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas. While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser.”
