Tammy Slaton, the “1000-Lb Sisters’ star, has spoken following the death of her husband Caleb Willingham.
Slaton, 36, paid tribute to him with a sentimental Instagram Post that included a series of photos of them.
Willingham died at the age of 40.
“Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️,” Slaton said under the photos.
She confirmed her husband’s death in a statement to PEOPLE writing, “I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly.”
“When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time,” she added.
The two met at an Ohio rehabilitation center last year and tied the knot in November.
The couple got married at the rehab center in front of 30 friends and family members and it was officiated by their home care nurse and family friend, Billy.
