To bring women empowerment to HBCU campuses, The Radiant Collection and HBCU Dance Corporation, Inc. have teamed up to host the #RadiantDanceOff. #RadiantDanceOff is a national, online dance competition sponsored by HBCU Dance exclusively for majorette teams at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The dance off was created to give majorettes the opportunity to show off their moves while being confident and radiant any day of the month.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The winning majorette team will receive new uniforms designed by celebrity designer Brea Stinson, a Clark Atlanta University alumna. The school of the winning team will also receive $25,000 to benefit the dance team.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Working with some of the biggest entertainers in the world, I know how important it is to have high-performance dance gear that is both stylish and functional, something HBCU majorettes can relate to,” says Stinson. “During that time of the month, it can be challenging to feel like your best self, which is why I’m so excited to partner with the Tampax and Always Radiant Collection to inspire HBCU dancers to feel and look confident during their periods no matter what they wear.”

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Schools that are listed for the contest are Grambling, South Carolina State, Clark Atlanta, Delaware State, Howard, Mississippi Valley State, Central State, Southern, Lincoln (PA), Alcorn, Kentucky State, Jackson State, Virginia State, Prairie View A&M, Alabama A&M, Lincoln (MO), Alabama State, Savannah State, North Carolina Central, Morehouse/Spelman, and Miles College.
