A few months ago, Tyrese took to Instagram to let fans of the collective group, TGT, know that there will not be a second album — at least not one that Ginuwine will be involved in. In fact, Tyrese said that if TGT does push forward, they will be looking for a new member, or just record as a duo. Tyrese’s comments sparked a mini feud between he and Ginuwine, which soon after, ended with both parties apologizing. Weeks later, Ginuwine and Tank were spotted together, asking where Tyrese was at.
TMZ caught up with Tank recently at LAX and asked if there’s anything new with TGT. “Tyrese still doesn’t want to split the money equally,” Tank responded. “We’re done. We’re good.”
Tank was all smiles when he said it, so it doesn’t seem like he was coming from a bad place. As a fan of the group, who bought the “Three Kings” album and still listens to it religiously, I’m siding with Tank on this one. All three of these guys equally brought their own flavor to the project. No one person should be paid over the other.
Tyrese has since taken to Instagram to respond to Tank’s claims. Under a meme that read ‘Guess who ain’t gotta explain SH*T to NOBODY,’ Tyrese wrote, “Tank… I see we taking it to TMZ levels now……. I love you too….. Let me know when we gonna get the next play date locked in Shayla keeps asking about Zoey……. #Family”
Hopefully they can all get it together and drop one more project for the fans. The last one was fire!
