A New York Target has had to lock away its “Pair of Thieves” and other men’s underwear brands because of increased theft.
At a White Plains, New York, store, “Pair of Thieves” products were locked behind a glass display along with other brands of underwear, Fox Business reported.
“Pair of Thieves,” is a brand based in Los Angeles and also sells socks and undershirts.
In a report released in September, the National Retail Federation (NRF) said that underwear was among the list of clothing that organized retail crime groups often try to steal, as well as handbags, cellphone accessories, designer footwear, and cosmetics.
Some personal care aisles at Target locations in San Francisco and Riverdale, New York, made headlines in April for having the items locked away as well.
