Last week, Cardi B filed to have blogger Tasha K’s bank accounts garnished in an effort to recover the $3 million in damages she is owed. Now, Tasha is trying to prevent that from happening.
RadarOnline.com obtained court documents filed in Georgia that show Tasha is asking a judge to stop the garnishment before her appeal is heard. A ruling is pending.
Cardi sued the gossip blogger over accusations that she had an STD, cheated on Offset, abused drugs, and worked as an escort. The “WAP” rapper says the claims made by Tasha led to depression and suicidal thoughts.
A jury believed her and awarded her $1 million in damages, $250,000 for medical expenses, and $1.5 million for punitive damages. She was also awarded $1.3 million to cover her legal fees.
But Cardi wants her money and filed to have Tasha’s Chase bank accounts garnished. She asked that the bank hold any assets in her accounts or safety deposit boxes.
