Tasha K is firing back at Cardi B! The YouTuber claims that the judge withheld evidence regarding Cardi’s “character.”
Months following Cardi’s win against Tasha, the YouTuber’s lawyers launch an appeal against the rapper. The attorneys claim that Judge William Ray “erroneously” excluded vital evidence about Cardi.
In January, the judge ruled that the evidence might be prejudicial against Cardi. However, Tasha’s lawyers believe the information about her should be shared.
“The jury heard a very lopsided presentation of evidence. They did not get to learn who the plaintiff truly is; the jury returned a general verdict for the Plaintiff against both Defendants,” Tasha’s attorneys wrote.
It’s currently unknown which evidence Tasha’s lawyers were referencing. Before the trial, both sides debated if jurors could be notified about Cardi’s past life.
