Tasha K claims she cannot pay the $3 million debt owed to Cardi B due to financial strain.
According to the records submitted in Tasha’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, she states her earnings originate from her role as a “content creator/influencer” through platforms like YouTube and Instagram. However, Cardi is listed as her primary creditor, with an owed amount of $3,363,753.
Last year, a Georgia jury awarded the rapper $1 million in general damages and $250,000 for medical expenses. She also received $1.5 million in punitive damages and $1.3 million for attorney fees.
Cardi began collecting funds this year and served subpoenas to Google for Tasha’s YouTube earnings. A few months later, Tasha sought bankruptcy protection, temporarily halting Cardi’s efforts to access her funds.
In her recent filing, Tasha K acknowledged her assets total $58,595, mainly from a Chevy Silverado worth $46,750 with a $53,412 lien. Without the truck, her assets are only $12,000. She revealed an IRS claim of around $97,000 for taxes in 2021-2022. She filed both returns, showing a $150,000 tax due plus $30,000 in state taxes.
“Clearly [Tasha] does not have the ability to pay the [Cardi] judgment in full,” Tasha’s lawyer said in court, adding that Tasha will work to “amicably resolve the [Cardi] judgment” in the case.
According to RadarOnline,  Tasha K listed assets ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 and liabilities between $1 million to $10 million. Her assets include a Chevy Silverado, furniture ($2,750), electronics ($500), clothing $2,500 (including two Louis Vuitton purses and a Coach purse), jewelry ($6,000), and $100 in her bank account.
