Darryl Campbell, also known as podcaster Taxstone, has been found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the shooting of a bodyguard during a concert at Irving Plaza in 2016.
The verdict was delivered by a Manhattan jury, which found Taxstone responsible for the death of Ronald McPhatter and serious injury to three others.
District Attorney Alvin Bragg has called the incident a “tragic and deadly confrontation in a packed New York City music venue,” and Taxstone is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
