Taylor Swift Grieves Over Fan Who Died at Her Concert

Singer Taylor Swift is devastated over the death of one of her fans who passed away during her Brazil show.

Following her Friday night  “Eras” tour show at Estádio Olimpico Nilton Santos stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Swift posted a heartfelt note on her Instagram.

“I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this.”

Taylor didn’t go into detail about the individual but disclosed that it was a “so incredibly beautiful and far too young” female.

The “Cruel Summer” singer has a Saturday night show and told fans that she would not mention Friday’s tragedy because she is “overwhelmed by grief when I even try to talk about it.”

She concluded her message by saying her heart breaks for the fan’s family and friends.

TMZ reported that during Friday’s 3-hour performance, Swift made sure all of her “Swifties” in the crowd were provided plenty of water to keep them hydrated in the 100-degree heat.
