In another victory for 50 Cent, a Los Angeles judge has ordered Teairra Mari to pay additional money to the “Power” creator.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Mari was ordered to pay 50 an additional $5,295.50 in sanctions. She was also ordered to surrender her financial records to the rapper, something she has failed to do multiple times.
The 44-year-old is looking to seize the money Mari was paid while on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” to fulfill the judgment. Mari was reportedly paid $100,000 to appear on the reality show.
The case stems from a 2018 incident, in which Mari sued 50 and her ex-boyfriend Akbar Abdul-Ahad after accusing them of humiliating her. In the suit, Mari claimed that her ex hacked her Instagram account and posted a sexual video of her onto her Instagram. Although Mari quickly deleted the video, 50 got a hold of it and reposted the video on his account to his millions of followers, which prompted the reality star’s suit against him. But 50 shot back, claiming that by the time he reposted the graphic visual, it was already running rampant over the internet. Ultimately, the judge wasn’t buying Mari’s story and, instead, awarded 50 $30,000 in attorney fees.
