Tems has Tommy Hilfiger customers digging deep in their wallets as the face of the Tommy Jeans Fall/Winter 2022 collection.
The legendary brand tapped the “Free Mind” songstress to showcase their new and colorful line of trendy cropped tops, classic high-waisted jeans, outerwear, and much more. Tems made sure that her role in the campaign is especially special, having been photographed by Joshua Woods in her native Lagos, Nigeria, paying homage to the country’s rich culture.
“Being a part of this campaign feels exciting, especially since more people will be introduced to Lagos and the alternative scenes and communities that are thriving there,” Tems said about the new campaign. The 27-year-old also added that as a fan of Aaliyah’s, she is grateful to be able to collaborate with a brand that worked closely with the singer when she was alive.
In images orchestrated by Creative Director Akinola Davies Jr., Tems looked stunning in a blue and red color block cropped halter top, red and white Denim jacket, and black pants, all from Tommy Jeans’ new line.
Tommy Hilfiger has consistently tapped the hottest artists to participate in their campaigns. Britney Spears and Usher have also been part of past collections. Despite a rocky history with Black artists, Tommy Hilfiger has picked the right woman for the job for this year’s Fall/Winter collection.
