A Black male tech support worker was shocked to find two racist statutes propped outside a customer’s home.
A TikToker by the name malacheeman detailed his experience about how he came across a customer’s two racist statues sitting outside in her yard. The worker went to the female customer’s Atlanta, Georgia home to help her with her wifi. That’s when his eyes spotted the offensive statues.
“So I went to this lady’s house to fix her wifi, and I see this,” a voiceover on the TikTok says. The video then does a close-up on the figures, which show a Black racial caricature eating a watermelon. “Is it really eating watermelon?” the voiceover questions. The video then pans over to show another racist statue at the home.
The man eventually goes into the woman’s home, and in another video, he shows himself leaving, letting his followers know that he’s “all good.” He added: “She offered me coffee, but I have watched Get Out too many times.”
Before the videos ended, the TikToker also showed the woman had a book titled Let Trump Be Trump. By the end of it all, the service worker did gain relief from his manager, who arrived to “save” him.
