“Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans has temporarily lost custody of her three children.
On Tuesday, a judge in North Carolina made the “temporary decision” to have Evans’ custody of her children, Kaiser, 4, and Jace, 9, and Ensley, 2, removed. In addition, Evans’ husband, David Eason is still not allowed to see his daughter Maryssa, his child from a previous marriage. Entertainment Tonight reports Jace and Ensley are in the custody of Evans’ mother, Barbara.
A rep for Evans told ET, “At this time we are cooperating with the judge and legal team from the court. We will continue to cooperate with the court and their decisions.” A source told ET that Child Protective Services removed Evans’ sons after Eason allegedly shot and killed their family dog. In turn, ”Teen Mom 2” fired Evans from the show. According to an MTV spokesperson, the network did its last filming with Evans on April 6.
Eason confirmed the child was bitten by her dog, Nugget, in a since-delete video. “I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog, and I don’t put up with that s**t at all,” Eason wrote alongside the clip. “I’m all about protecting my family; it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for, and my family means that much to me.” Sources say Evans was “stunned” by the court’s decision to remove her children.
