Late last month, Tekashi69 was arrested in his hometown on racketeering charges, stemming from a five-year federal investigation into the Nine Trey Blood Gang.
But now, as he awaits trial, which is set for September 4, 2019, on charges of armed robbery, murder conspiracy and drug trafficking, the self-proclaimed King of New York may face additional charges over his beef with Chief Keef.
According to TMZ, the June shooting outside the W Hotel in Times Square, targeting Keef, initially went unsolved. But, after video surfaced of 6ix9ine offering a “30 pack” following a phone call with Keef’s cousin, Tadoe, officials have reason to believe the rainbow-haired rapper was involved.
In fact, investigators already had their eyes on 6ix9ine in connection to the shooting because of his longstanding social media beef with Keef. But now, in light of the video, federal officials are revisiting evidence to see if anything will lead to new charges.
