On Monday, Tekashi69 entered a not guilty plea in his federal racketeering case, in which federal officials compiled evidence of gang violence, retaliation, and dealing, against the rapper and his crew- dating back to 2013.Â
During the hearing, the rainbow-haired rapper also received a trial date, which has been set for September 4 – ten months from now.Â
Now, according to TMZ, since bail was not addressed in court, 6ix9ine will most likely have to remain behind bars until trial at least for now. However, the rapper’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro said he plans to apply for bail directly to the trial judge when the time comes.Â
In the meantime, 6ix9ine has been moved to a new prison facility, which according to TMZ is often used to house informants. However, sources say the rapper is having a bit of trouble in there, as a few inmates have expressed their displeasure with 6ix9ine’s special treatment.
