Tekashi69’s Lawyer Asks Judge For Even Earlier Release Amid Coronavirus Outbreak; Says He’s At High Risk

Earlier this month, Tekashi69 received his early release date, set for August 2020. But, amid the growing coronavirus outbreak, the rapper is trying to secure an even earlier release, for the sake of his health.

The rapper’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, wrote a letter to the judge Sunday night, detailing his concerns about his client’s health and well being.

In the letter obtained by TMZ, Lazzaro said 6ix9ine has asthma, which would make a coronavirus infection even worse. So, Lazzaro wants him to be released.

In addition to asthma, 6ix9ine also had bronchitis and sinusitis last year and has most recently had shortness of breath. However, he has yet to see a doctor, according to Lazzaro.

Despite his early release in just a few months, Lazzaro says his client can’t risk the extra time and should be released as soon as possible.
