On his podcast “Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. and Hatch,” Football Hall of Fame star, Terrell Owens expressed his belief in his ability to fill in for Antonio Brown during Tampa’s playoff run.
“If you think about where they are in the season, they don’t need me for a 16-game season,” Owens said. “Three to four games at the max.”
“So, yes, I feel like I can go in, I can contribute at a high level and can be productive,” he added.
Despite not playing for the NFL since 2010, Owens says he’s healthy enough to return the field.
He believes that if he is given a chance with Tampa, he will be able to prove his haters wrong.
T.O. said, “I know that I can do it.”
The Buccaneers could actually call in the wake of Brown’s departure. They are reportedly eyeing some free agents after Brown left the team on Sunday.
