The tensions between Terry Crews and Adam Venit, over Crews’ claims of sexual assault, have officially been settled, after Crews accepted the agent’s apology, as well as his resignation.
On Friday, Crews took to social media to share a letter he received in March, where Venit apologized for his actions that led to this entire ordeal.
“The intent of this letter is to start a dialogue in service of taking responsibility for the emotional challenge that this experience has caused you and your family,” Venit wrote. “I know you didn’t ask for any of this. Again, I take responsibility for us being here now, together in this situation. I am sorry for all of it.”
“I even hope that someday we can come together and go forward with compassion and understanding and be an amazing force for positivity and change in our future,” he added, before he ended with “respect and gratitude.”
In addition the apology, Crews also accepted Venit’s resignation from his position as a Hollywood agent.
“William Morris Endeavor Agency’s Adam Venit Full Apology Letter,” Crews wrote underneath the photo. “Received: March 22nd, 2018. Accepted WITH HIS RESIGNATION: September 10th, 2018. #Accountability.”
