American electric vehicle and clean energy companies will give their customers free “Supercharging” for the holidays.
If you’re a Tesla owner, you’re in luck this holiday season. However, there are some conditions. Superchargers will only be free “during off-peak hours at Superchargers along select travel routes in the United States.” PCMAG reports the superchargers will be available before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m. from Dec. 23 to Dec. 26.
While most of the Superchargers are on the West Coast, the supercharge stations are located in 11 states in the U.S. Electrek reports say the move will more than likely “high concentrations of Tesla owners.”
The promotion may also be connected to the long wait times that typically occur during the holiday season. Back in 2018, Tesla owners allegedly complained about having to wait long periods to charge their cars of time during Thanksgiving.
