Texas A&M Freshman Receiver, Thomas Johnson was last seen leaving his College Station residence around 5pm and authorities need your help finding him. The team began to worry when he did not show for practice.
“All of us are obviously very concerned about the safety and well-being of Thomas Johnson,” Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin said in a statement. “Authorities are working closely with his family, friends and law enforcement agencies to help locate him. Thomas is a tremendous student-athlete, greatly admired by his fellow teammates and all of us on the coaching staff. If anyone has any current information about him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact his family or law enforcement authorities immediately. We pray for his quick and safe return.”
Johnson is 18, 5’11” and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black shorts, gray shoes and a pair of Beats by Dre headphones.
The fact that they have issued a missing persons report for an able-bodied grown man worries me. This means that someone knows something they may not be telling the public. If anyone has information on Johnson’s whereabouts you should contact UPD at (979) 845-2345.
Prayers for his safe return.
*** UPDATE*** Texas A&M University police phoned Johnson’s mother early Thursday to notify her that her son had been found and is safe in Dallas. Johnson’s mother says he has not contacted her since his disappearance and that she had no other information. A news conference is scheduled for later today.
