On New Years Eve freshman LB for Texas A&M, Darian Claiborne, will be missing out on the Chick-Fil-A Bowl against Duke University in Atlanta all because he was busted for drug possession.
Claiborne was arrested on charges of possession of a dangerous drug, and for possession of less* than two ounces of marijuana. Cops say Claiborne hid his weed and Adderall in a giant Hershey Kiss ornament.
According to cops, 19 year old Claiborne was riding in a car without front plates and 2 of the 3 occupants were not wearing seatbelts. When stopped cops smelled marijuana on the passenger side of the car where Claiborne was sitting, though he insisted it was the smell of a Black & Mild cigar. When cops found the red plastic Hershey’s kiss ornament in the center console it contained a small bag of weed and 5 Adderall capsules which Claiborne did not have a prescription for.
Claiborne was booked and released on a $6,000 bond.
