Texas Girl, 12, Shot Her Father And Then Herself In Alleged ‘Murder Plot’

An adolescent girl allegedly shot her father and then killed herself in an alleged ‘murder’ scheme that she orchestrated with another girl.

As part of a plot to kill their families and pets, two young girls worked together in a bizarre murder scheme that would end with their escape to Georgia.

According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. last Tuesday at a home in northwest Parker County. When police arrived at the scene, they found a 12-year-old girl on the ground in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. The girl’s father, 38, was inside the family’s home with a gunshot wound in his abdomen. The weapon was lying next to the girl’s body.

According to CNN, there are no new updates on the girl and her father’s health, but they were both rushed to hospital.

“Sheriff’s investigators said the juvenile is believed to have shot her father, fled the scene, and later shot herself,” the news release said.

The release continued, explaining that the entire shooting was related to a murder plot conspired by the girl and another child. The 12-year-old “planned for several weeks to murder her family and pets and had been in contact with another juvenile female from Lufkin, TX, regarding the murder plot,” said the Sheriff’s Office.

Both children planned to kill their fathers, but the other child – whose age hasn’t been released – didn’t go along with the plan. After pulling off their murders, the two planned to take off together to Georgia. The child from Lufkin was charged with criminal conspiracy in the planning of the murder plot, according to police.
