Texas Senator Ted Cruz wants Donald Trump to take action in the Sean “Diddy” Combs case.
Cruz is urging the president to release all documents related to Combs’ ongoing trial.
“I have long called for the administration to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, and also the P. Diddy files,” Cruz said in an interview with The Bulwark.
Combs was charged in September with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution, accusations linked to his infamous “Freak Offs.” These elaborate sex parties allegedly took place with several participants. Federal authorities claim Combs used his vast business empire to facilitate these events, which included multiple instances of “repeated physical abuse.”
The release of the so-called “Diddy files” has become a focal point of public demand, with many believing the files could contain a list of high-profile figures involved in these crimes.
“He’s going to come in there and maybe give them the Epstein list, maybe give them the Diddy list, and they are terrified,” said Trump’s choice for FBI director, Kash Patel, in November during an appearance on “The Benny Johnson Show.”
The Bad Boy founder, however, denies all charges and is currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing decades behind bars.
Over two dozen lawsuits have been filed against Combs, alleging sexual assault, drugging, and physical abuse. His trial is scheduled to begin in May.
