Three Houston-area teens are facing charges after authorities say they turned violent when their mom cut off the Wi-Fi.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the siblings — ages 14, 15, and 16 — allegedly devised a plan to attack their mother late Sunday night, chasing her through the house and into the street with kitchen knives. The reason? She turned off the internet.
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the teens also struck their mother with a brick, and their grandmother was knocked over while trying to intervene. Fortunately, both women avoided serious injuries.
The teens have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and are currently being held at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
