A Texas woman is accused of stealing a $10,000 dog and then driving for more than a mile as a store employee who tried to stop her clung to the hood of her car.
On Nov. 4, video captured store worker Alize James hanging on to the front of the sedan as it sped through Harris County.
James told KPRC of Houston, “I was hanging on for dear life.”
According to the station and court documents, the employee was working at Bully Kamp when a couple came in to discuss financing options for an exotic bully puppy. As she stepped away, the couple grabbed the dog and ran.
James said she tried to stop that after they got into the vehicle, but then the car accelerated, and she was thrown on the hood.
Would you have done all of this to stop a thief from stealing your company’s dog?
