Teyana Taylor Seemingly Reacts to Aaron Pierre’s Shirtless Selfie with a Flirty Message

Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre are no longer keeping things lowkey, at least not on social media.

The rumored couple had fans talking after a pair of flirty Instagram Stories went live on Sunday. Aaron Pierre, 30, dropped a shirtless selfie showing off his abs in a bathroom mirror with dancehall artist Dexta Daps song Owner playing over it.

Teyana Taylor, 34, wasted no time responding. Shortly after Pierre’s post went up, she shared a cryptic but telling message on her own Story: “on di wey,” followed by an exhaling emoji.

While neither star has officially confirmed a relationship, this latest exchange isn’t the first time they’ve raised eyebrows. Back in March, Taylor posted a dramatic black-and-white photoset of her and Pierre at the 2025 Oscars, giving off major Bond girl energy with a caption that read, “Oscar night in black & white, no grey area.” Pierre reposted the same shots to his feed, letting the visuals do all the talking.

Before that, the two were seen seated together at the American Black Film Festival Honors in February, adding more fuel to the speculation.

Taylor, who finalized her divorce from Iman Shumpert in January 2023 after seven years of marriage, has largely kept her personal life private since the split. Pierre, known for his breakout performance in Mufasa: The Lion King and the upcoming Lanterns series from DC Studios, has also stayed quiet about his dating life.

Still, fans can’t help but notice the chemistry between them, especially with the recent online exchange.

Professionally, both are booked and busy. Taylor is set to star in One Battle After Another, the latest project from Paul Thomas Anderson featuring a star-studded cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Regina Hall, Benicio del Toro, and Sean Penn. Meanwhile, Pierre is stepping into Season 4 of The Morning Show and will co-star in the anticipated superhero series Lanterns.
