Balenciaga is paying homage to Kim Kardashian with a pricy new t-shirt line.
The luxury fashion brand has launched a collection of Kim Kardashian tees, priced at $825 each, as part of its 2025 Brand Ambassador Fanclub series. For the steep price, customers receive an oversized black shirt featuring three iconic images of Kardashian in Balenciaga, with her name printed on the front and her signature displayed on the back.
Kardashian’s relationship with Balenciaga has been rocky. Though she’s long supported the brand, she distanced herself in 2022 after a controversial ad campaign featuring children holding teddy bears dressed in BDSM gear.
“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” Kardashian said at the time.
Following the backlash, the reality star re-evaluated her relationship with the company, later revealing she turned down an offer for a 2023 campaign. Her latest Balenciaga collab follows a partnership with Nike, where they launched a new brand called NikeSkims.
Other celebrities being honored in Balenciaga’s Fanclub collection are Nicole Kidman and actress Michelle Yeoh. The brand will include t-shirts sporting their likeness, though none appear to be as luxurious as Kardashian’s.
